A gentle reminder of what things do, even on websites outside the Club.

What This Is

On LinguaClub.org, the Helpful Hand toggle already knows exactly what each button on our site does. This page gives you a version of that same friendly helper to carry with you to other websites, too.

Worth knowing: out in the wider web, this can't know exactly what any specific site's buttons do the way it does here at home. Instead, it gently tells you what kind of thing you're looking at (a link, a button, a place to type), and reassures you that it's safe to take your time deciding.

How to Add It (on a computer)

  1. Make sure your bookmarks bar is showing (in most browsers: View → Show Bookmarks Bar).
  2. Drag the marigold button below up onto your bookmarks bar, and let go.
  3. From then on, whenever you're on any website and would like a gentle reminder, just click that bookmark.
